Introducing DGH Neurodivergent Consultancy
For years, my work has been rooted in a simple truth: neurodivergent people deserve lives that are understood, valued, and supported on our own terms. Whether through my books, research, training, or advocacy, my focus has always been on reshaping systems so they work with us, not against us.
That’s why I founded DGH Neurodivergent Consultancy.
At DGH Neurodivergent Consultancy, I offer:
Training: delivering sessions that go beyond awareness, into competence. I equip professionals with the understanding they need to work meaningfully with Autistic and otherwise neurodivergent people.
Consultancy: helping organisations audit their practice, policies, and environments, ensuring they are neurodivergent-competent and genuinely inclusive.
Research: drawing on my academic and lived experience, I undertake and contribute to research projects that centre neurodivergent voices, including my recent co-authored work on improving substance-use services for Autistic adults.
Professional Supervision:offering supervision for professionals who work with neurodivergent people, grounded in both theoretical rigour and lived experience.
This work builds on my wider portfolio. I am the author of books including The New Normal, Unusual Medicine, and A Guide to Autism and Psychosis. My concepts such as nesting, and the Chaotic Self are helping to reframe how we understand Autistic wellbeing, transitions, burnout, and identity. My focus remains on neurodivergence, mental health, and addiction; areas where systemic reform is most urgently needed.
DGH Neurodivergent Consultancy is about translating this knowledge into practice: changing the way organisations, practitioners, and systems engage with neurodivergent people.
If you are seeking training, consultancy, research collaboration, or professional supervision that is firmly grounded in both lived and professional expertise, I would be delighted to work with you.
